Can Someone Tell Me Why Joseph Fiennes As Michael Jackson Was A Good Idea?

No one actually thinks this is a good idea, right?

For some reason, a new show titled Urban Myths: A Brand New Collection of Comedies, which will be an anthology that focuses on “true…ish stories” that have gone around as urban legends, has been made. And that’s all find and dandy until you realize that 46-year-old English actor Joseph Fiennes was tapped to play none other than the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. Yep.

And wait until you see the first images of Fiennes as Jackson. Check out this scary image:

Holy hell…what the hell? I understand the point of this series, and I’m sure it has its moments, but now all that people will be talking about is this horrible image. Fiennes’ makeup looks like it was done at a high school production.

If you think that’s bad, take a look at the trailer that Sky Arts released today:

The Fiennes episode will revolve around his post-9/11 road trip with his buddies Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando.

This hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already a shit-fest.
