The Gorillaz latest tease to a new album in 2017 comes in the form of a “kick-ass” all-girl playlist from the cartoon band’s guitarist Noodle.

Although there is no new Gorillaz music on the actual mixtape, Noodle describes the artists on her Instagram (if your dog can have its own IG page, why not a cartoon rock star), as “kick-ass women who in their own individual ways are true pioneers in the writing, production and creation of MUSIC.”
The fun-loving, progressive playlist (listen to it below) includes Grimes, Empress Of, and Kali Uchis among others.
Gorillaz co-conspirators/founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have been dropping subtle and not so subtle hints the past six months of a new album which is said to include De La Soul, Snoop Dogg and Vic Mensa.
