Jimmy Kimmel Is Back To Pranking Kids About Eating Their Halloween Candy…With A Twist

We all know the schtick by now, but just in case you’ve somehow never heard of the prank that Jimmy Kimmel has been asking parents to do to their children for the past six years, listen up. Since Halloween is all about dressing up and — for children especially — candy, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been doing an annual segment titled “I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy.” It’s exactly what it sounds like. Prepare for a whole lot of crying and fussiness, as the latest edition aired on the show last night:

Of course, since this segment is a bit old hat at this point, it needed a bit of a twist to keep it interesting. Enter Kimmel’s two-year-old daughter Jane, who was finally old enough for her dad to finally pull the prank on her and at least get some sort of response. Sadly, that’s about the best way to describe her reaction, as it wasn’t quite on par with the other crying babies:

Unfazed. Better luck next year, Jimmy.
