Exclusive Video | ‘Berlin Station: Eyes of the City’

This weekend, EPIX will make a major leap into original programming with Berlin Station, a new drama series. Former Strike Back and The Hobbit star, Richard Armitage is starring in the series as Daniel Miller, a CIA operative in Berlin who is on a special mission to find an infamous whistleblower. Essentially, it’s a modern espionage story, and Daniel isn’t the only one looking for the source. He’s not even the only one being watched.

Ahead of the series premiere of Berlin Station, EPIX has passed along an exclusive video that deals with Daniel’s apartment, one of the major settings on the show. The series is actually filmed in Berlin, which lends it another level of authenticity to it. In this clip, Armitage and location manager, Angela Mages talk about why they chose to shoot at this location. They also explain how it plays into the themes of the series.
