You’ll Need A Change Of Shorts After Watching This Guy Ride His Bike Down A Mountain

I have no problem saying that Dan Atherton is sporting a bigger set of grapes than I am, and odds are after watching this clip of him speeding down a mountain on his bike, you’ll quickly come to the same conclusion.

This Domino’s driver doing a wheelie, and this Georgia fan crashing through a window was dumb, but this is just scary.

The footage came courtesy of Atherton’s GoPro that he wore while competing in the Red Bull Hardline in Dinas Mawddwy, Wales last month on a course that he created and is billed as the year’s “most insane downhill race.”

Um, based on what I just watched, let’s hope so. Good lord.

Considered one of the “heaviest downhill mountain bike tracks ever created,” the “long and technical course plays on a variety of disciplines, where incredibly steep and rocky technical sections were combined with a motocross run in and 50-foot gap jump to create one of the most progressive downhill courses on the planet.”

Even crazier than that? You guessed it: There were 12 – yes, 12 – guys who finished that run with a faster time than Atherton’s 3:47 mark, including his brother Gee, who finished the terrifying downhill trek almost 12 seconds faster than he did.
