If your St. Patrick’s Day hangover isn’t making you feel old today, then this should do the trick.
According to Buzzfeed, Eminem’s daughter Hailie Scott is currently enrolled at Michigan State University, and she is definitely all grown up now.
That’s right. The baby girl who Eminem used to spit lyrics about is now 19 years old.
Hailie has been mentioned in many of her father’s songs, some more uplifting than others.
In 1997’s “Just The Two Of Us” from his Slim Shady EP, Eminem told his daughter to “grab a couple of toys and let da-da strap you in the car seat” while her mother’s corpse was rotting in the trunk.
But several years and millions of dollars later, Eminem was a tad more on the cheery side. In “Hailie’s Song” from his 2002 album The Eminem Show, he said, “My baby girl keeps getting older, I watch her grow up with pride.”
And proud is exactly what he should be, as not only has Hailie grown into an absolute knockout, but she’s also extremely smart and popular. Scott graduated Chippewa Valley High School last year with a 3.9 GPA, a year after being crowned Homecoming Queen.
