Exclusive Premiere | Who Can Sleep’s “Salt & Honey” Is Quite Tasty

Who Can Sleep play indie pop music that feels like an evening walk in some uber-hip neighborhood with a wine and paint studio. It’s light, warm and since they call Atwater Village home, there’s probably a cute dog involved.

Crave is exclusively premiering the LA-based duo of Lexie Helgerson and Dean Vivirito’s latest single, “Salt And Honey,” a lo-fi duet ditty with slow-mo melodies that wash over you like a fall breeze, a bit chilly, but a good excuse to put your arm around someone, while exchanging LaCroix recipes. Vivirito talked about the story behind the song via email:

“I was struggling to finish this song late one night. Lexie came home from Hyperion Tavern saying she’d seen me there. Well, not really me, but me from ten years ago, which is weird because I used to go there all the time. It occurred to me that I knew how to finish the song and that she and I are definitely connected outside the bounds of our known universe. And/or she’s really out there.”
