Brothers. Head cases. Rock stars. Those are the three images that come to mind when describing Oasis. An upcoming documentary (Oct.2)  from the producers behind the Oscar-winning Amy, details the star-crossed, British rockers’ rollercoaster ride in the nineties which eventually derailed because of infighting between Noel and Liam Gallagher.

“Supersonic” explores the heart, soul and madness of the brothers Gallagher, who were both the gift and the curse of the English band who were hailed as the next coming of the Beatles, but never reached their potential, eventually breaking up in 2009.

If the film’s trailer has you nostalgic for “Wonderwall,” breakout the “Champagne Supernova” because the film’s director, Mat Whitecross, dropped a tidbit about the band’s future in a recent interview with NME, saying “Neither of them (Noel and Liam) have discounted the idea of getting back together. It will happen, I’m sure. The idea of never seeing them again for me is impossible.”
