Comic-Con 2016 | ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Blooper Reel & Season 7 Teaser

Winter is coming…but not until next summer. Fans in San Diego for the annual Comic-Con International had to deal with the fact that the wait for a new season of Game of Thrones is going to be a little longer than usual. In fact, the seventh season hasn’t even started shooting yet, so there was barely anything new to show off at Comic-Con.

Thank the Lord of Light for bloopers and mistakes. At the con, HBO debuted the blooper reel for GoT’s sixth season, which found Emilia Clarke struggling with the Dothraki language while atop her fake CGI dragon, Peter Dinklage stumbling over a common word, and Rory McCann failing to live up to the Hound’s feats of strength! Kit Harington’s moment of modesty was also quite funny, especially since Jon Snow was supposed to be dead at the time!

Of course, it’s not all fun and games on the set of the show. And the good news is that the crew is already hard at work during the pre-production for the new season. The other new video released at Comic-Con features footage of the new GoT season against the backdrop of some of the most memorable lines of the previous season, including Cersei’s ascension. And it seems to clearly tease the eventual war between Cersei and Daenerys.

Game of Thrones season 7 will debut in summer 2017.
