Things reportedly got physical between Kelli Potter and Angela Oakley during The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast trip to The Bahamas. A new report claims an argument between the co-stars escalated while cameras were rolling.
The alleged RHOA altercation apparently became serious enough for production to step in afterward. However, Bravo has not publicly confirmed the reported incident or any disciplinary action.
Kelli Potter’s alleged fight with Angela Oakley reportedly prompted production to intervene
The Neighborhood Talk reported that a source close to production described the encounter as a minor physical altercation. According to the report, Kelli allegedly hit Angela with her crutches during the disagreement.
Production reportedly gathered the cast for a conversation after the incident. The outlet also heard that disciplinary action may have followed. Still, it remains unclear what action producers allegedly took or whether viewers will see the confrontation on the show.
Reality Blurb also reported the claims. The outlet noted that Kelli and Angela already had plenty of friction before the Bahamas trip.
Kelli and Angela had already shown signs of tension before the Bahamas trip. Their issues also surfaced in the RHOA Season 17 reunion trailer, where the two appeared to still have unresolved problems.
Despite the latest report, Angela apparently suggested things were calmer when she spoke with The Neighborhood Talk’s Dee at Bravo Fan Fest. She reportedly said she was in a good place with the cast at the time. The outlet said Kelli did not respond when contacted for comment.
The alleged incident also comes amid more reported chaos surrounding the Bahamas trip. Sources claimed that a former Housewife unexpectedly appeared during filming after receiving an invitation from a current cast member. The person’s identity has not been officially confirmed.
For now, neither Kelli nor Angela has publicly confirmed the reported crutches incident. Bravo also has not announced whether the alleged confrontation will make it into an upcoming episode.
