James Carville Delivers Harsh Career Warning to Haley Stevens

Relations between James Carville and Haley Stevens are currently strained, and their feud is no secret to the nation. The U.S. representative has had a political and public service career spanning nearly 17 to 19 years. However, Carville has now delivered a harsh warning about Haley’s political future.

James Carville questions Haley Stevens’ political future

As per the TMZ coverage, the veteran Democratic strategist slammed Stevens during Sunday’s episode of his Politicon podcast. After she endorsed Republican Mike Rogers over Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, James Carville declared her political career over.

He said, “Your political career is over. It means, if you think that these Republicans are going to treat you as anything other than what they view you as — a used condom.”

“The Democrats don’t even think you’re worth a used condom. You made your bed, sleep in it, you s*** in your mess kit, eat it,” Carville added.

The controversy erupted after 43-year-old stunned Democrats by suddenly endorsing Rogers on Sunday, just two days before Election Day. It was a major U-turn, especially since she had previously supported Abdul El-Sayed, who defeated her in the Democratic primary.

This isn’t the first time the American political consultant has used such harsh language against someone. He has previously made similar remarks about other politicians, but this is the first time we’ve seen him take such a harsh stance against Rep. Haley Stevens.

Speaking of the controversial decision made by the 43-year-old, Haley Stevens’ last-minute endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers reportedly stemmed from a dispute over an Israel-related ad and her removal from Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign event.

The two politicians had a major falling-out over an ad that blamed U.S. support for Israel for rising inflation in the country. When Stevens asked El-Sayed to condemn the ad, his campaign refused to let her appear on its platform. Upset by the public snub and growing tensions within the party, Stevens switched sides just two days before the election and threw her support behind opposing candidate Rogers.
