Lauren Conrad’s Iconic ‘Laguna Beach’ Mansion Is Up for Grabs

Lauren Conrad’s former Laguna Beach residence is back in the spotlight after its owners listed it for $26.5 million, more than two decades after the show’s debut. The property appeared throughout all three seasons of the MTV reality series, which aired from 2004 to 2006.

Sotheby’s International Realty listed the property earlier this month. Architect James Conrad, Lauren Conrad’s father, designed the sprawling estate. The 11-acre estate sits at the top of Three Arch Bay and includes six bedrooms and six full bathrooms, along with a half-bath. The property also includes a heated saltwater pool with an infinity edge overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Listing agent Richard Trey Dewey told Realtor.com, “You can see all the way to Los Angeles to the north, and you can see all the way down to Coronado Island, San Diego, to the south. And so it sits on this little knoll that affords a view that, really, nobody else in Orange County has.”

The agent further stated, “Not only is it not typical for Three Arch Bay, [but] it’s [also] not typical for Orange County or even Southern California on the coast. It’s truly a one-of-one property. I would say the next largest parcel in Three Arch is a 2.5-acre parcel. And then from there, they go way, way further down.”

The home is now owned by Ming Hsieh, the founder of biometrics technology company Cogent Systems. Dewey said Hsieh has maintained the property but largely left it untouched, with no major renovations or additions. “It’s still very much the original old Conrad house,” Dewey said.

Following the end of Laguna Beach in 2006, the Conrads decided to sell the home. They put it on the market in 2008 and sold it for $11.9 million, as per property records. Now, after nearly two decades under new ownership, the property is once again up for sale.
