Natalie Nunn had some fun with her Halloween costume, but she now wonders whether her joke went too far. The Baddies star drew inspiration from North West dressing up as her for Halloween. She insists that her costume was meant as a joke rather than an act of disrespect. Now, she hopes Kim Kardashian understands what she meant.
Natalie questions Kim Kardashian’s reaction to her North West costume
Nunn explained the situation during a Tuesday night outing in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. North West dressed as Nunn for Halloween, which gave the reality star an idea of her own. She recreated North’s look for her own Halloween costume. She compared the costume swap to Freaky Friday, in which the characters switch identities.
However, Nunn now worries that Kardashian may have misinterpreted the joke. She told the outlet that Kardashian initially left positive comments about her costume. Nunn later noticed that the comments had disappeared. That change made her worry that she might have upset the reality star.
Nunn made it clear that she never meant to offend Kardashian. She described her costume as a playful response to North’s own Halloween look. The Baddies star also joked about the situation while speaking to TMZ. “Damn, Kim, are you mad because I was North better than you?” she asked.
Nunn also said she had no issue with North dressing up as her. The teenager even wore a chin prosthetic to copy Nunn’s look. Nunn said she was not offended by the costume, especially since North is still a teenager. She also believes North’s costume might inspire others to dress up as “Natalie with the chin.”
Nunn hopes Kardashian will recognize the playful intention behind the costume exchange. She maintains that her outfit was simply a response to North’s Halloween tribute. Still, the missing comments left her unsure about Kardashian’s reaction. For now, Nunn appears to be treating the situation as a joke rather than a serious feud.
