The blogger will release her memoir, Daddy Issues, soon. In the memoir, Sofia Franklyn reveals how she “dropped into a panic attack” and kept wondering why Cooper had “lied,” believing there “must be a reason” behind it.
Sofia wrote, “I feel like I need to purge the last two years of my life. I want to wash myself from the inside out. All of my memories are violated. Do I need to get my sight checked? What did I miss? It’s not just the last few months. There were secrets even at the peak of our friendship. I thought Muji would give me an answer to today, to our battle with Dave and where to go next. But I know now it goes even further back.”
“Is this who she is? I think about all the times I thought we were sisters, all the moments when it felt like the energy of the world could be generated from us ping-ponging off each other alone. Where did that girl go? Who am I without her? Muji ends the call by repeating that he saw it all coming and hangs up. I’m in shock. No moves left, besides throwing my phone at the wall as hard as I can,” she added.
Sofia Franklyn and Alex Cooper were close friends who launched the popular podcast Call Her Daddy together in 2018. However, their relationship took a turn in 2020 when a major dispute erupted over contract negotiations with Barstool Sports, including disagreements over pay and ownership.
For context, the famous podcaster will release her highly anticipated memoir, Daddy Issues: A Memoir, on November 10, 2026. The book will explore more than just her relationship with Alex. Franklyn will also open up about her relationships with her biological father and stepfather, revealing the personal struggles behind her own daddy issues.
