An Austin home featured in “You Can See Everything,” a documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, has hit the market for $2.25 million. The property offers a glimpse into Holmes’ life before she entered federal prison.
Elizabeth Holmes’ former Austin rental listed for $2.25 million
Before beginning her federal prison sentence, Elizabeth Holmes and her family stayed at the Austin rental during their final weeks together. Their time at the property became part of the documentary “You Can See Everything.”
Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim featured the home in their documentary, which follows Holmes and her family in the weeks before she reported to federal prison. According to TMZ, the family spent most of that month at a rental home in Del Mar, California. They later moved to Austin to be closer to Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas.
The 2,483-square-foot home sits on a 7,100-square-foot lot and features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a courtyard-style porch and a kitchen equipped with high-end appliances.
Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim directed “You Can See Everything,” which premiered on October 16. Tatiana Bears, Maggie Ambrose, and Jack Davis also worked as producers on the documentary. The film has grossed nearly $45 million at the box office and holds a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Over the weekend, several people dressed as Holmes and Fielder for a costume contest at Washington Square Park in New York City.
Austin-based real estate agent Amy Dean is handling the property’s listing. Its appearance in the documentary may attract buyers interested in the home’s connection to Holmes and her family.
The listing comes as the documentary continues to draw attention following its October release. The film offers a glimpse into the Theranos founder’s life before her incarceration, while the Austin home has now attracted attention of its own.
