Hayden Panettiere’s Ex Raises New Concern After Her Death

Wladimir Klitschko sought additional legal authority to protect his daughter’s inheritance following the death of Hayden Panettiere.

The former boxer raised concerns about belongings that allegedly disappeared from the late actress’s possession. He believed someone previously connected to Panettiere had taken some of her jewelry to a pawn shop.

Klitschko submitted a court request seeking permission to involve law enforcement in recovering Panettiere’s property.

As per TMZ, the former boxer already had sole custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Kaya Klitschko. However, he needed a separate guardianship appointment to manage matters involving her inheritance.

According to court documents, Klitschko believed “a non-family member previously connected to Hayden” had pawned some of the actress’s belongings.

He claimed the pawn shop refused to provide details about the items without direct involvement from law enforcement.

Klitschko also expressed concern that the business could sell the belongings to other customers before authorities intervened.

His request therefore sought permission to initiate and authorize a police investigation into the allegedly missing property.

The concerns extended beyond the reported pawn shop transaction.

In an earlier filing, Klitschko alleged that some of Panettiere’s jewelry remained unaccounted for. He also raised concerns about unauthorized access to her emails and the reported destruction of electronic correspondence.

According to Klitschko, Panettiere had hired a security company before her death. She reportedly took that step following concerns about someone accessing her residence without permission.

Her designer clothing also became part of the property concerns. The supplied reports said the clothing had been moved to prevent its removal.

Separately, Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, previously accused the actress’s ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson of pawning some of her belongings. However, Klitschko’s latest filing did not identify the individual behind the suspected transaction.

Panettiere died on August 16, 2026, at 36. Her death resulted from the effects of multiple drugs, according to the supplied report.

Klitschko’s latest request focused on preserving property that could form part of Kaya’s inheritance.

The court had not yet ruled on his requested guardianship authority or permission to pursue the proposed investigation.
