Ciara Miller addressed growing fan interest in pairing her with Shaboozey, but the Summer House star made it clear that she did not read too much into the online speculation.
Miller discussed the dating chatter after performing with Brandon Armstrong on the September 29 episode of Dancing With the Stars. She had recently appeared in Shaboozey’s “Cowgirl” music video as fans expressed interest in seeing the two together.
Ciara joked the internet will pair her with “anyone with a heartbeat” amid the Shaboozey buzz
Miller laughed off the matchmaking and said social media regularly connected her to different men.
“I feel like they — the internet — will ship me with anyone with a heartbeat,” she said. “And … I love Shaboozey, but they’ll literally ship me with anyone. It could be a random man on Sunset [Boulevard].”
As per Us, although Ciara Miller is single, she said she still had standards for anyone she might date.
Armstrong jokingly offered his own requirements for her future partner and said the man should stand over 6-foot-3. He also made a joke about financial expectations, but Miller quickly rejected his advice.
“Good thing we’re not taking advice from Brandon,” she said. “We’re only taking advice from him in the dance room.”
Armstrong then kept his expectations simpler and said anyone interested in Miller should, at minimum, “be nice” to her.
Miller’s romantic life had already played out publicly on Summer House. She previously had an on-off connection with former costar West Wilson, but that ended earlier in the year after he began dating Amanda Batula. Miller subsequently cut ties with both Wilson and Batula.
Her attention had since shifted toward DWTS. During Yacht Rock Night, Miller and Armstrong performed a cha-cha to “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross and received 18 out of 30 points.
Miller said she felt less nervous than she had during the first two weeks of the competition and viewed that as progress.
“I feel like as long as we’re continuing to get better and better each week, we can now go perfect another dance and see what next week brings and what the challenges are going to be,” she said.
Armstrong also said he wanted Miller to stay realistic about the competition while building confidence in each performance.
