Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez appear to be taking their rekindled romance to the next level. The pair were spotted sharing a kiss during a Halloween Horror Nights date at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday evening, adding more fuel to recent reports that they are back together.
Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez confirm rekindled romance with a kiss during Halloween Horror Nights date
According to TMZ, Grande and Alvarez were seen sitting together at a VIP section at Universal Studios Hollywood when they leaned in for a kiss. The two also spent time talking closely before Grande turned her attention to her phone.
Although Grande tried to keep a low profile with a cap pulled down tightly, eyewitnesses still recognized her. The pair reportedly showed more affection during the evening, with Grande at one point sitting on Alvarez’s lap.
They also posed for photos with Halloween Horror Nights scareactor Art The Clown. According to sources, the couple had a personal tour guide who brought them drinks as they spent the evening together.
The outing comes after Grande and Alvarez rekindled their relationship following her split from Wicked actor Ethan Slater earlier this year. Grande and Slater began dating in July 2023 after both had divorced their respective spouses.
Meanwhile, Grande and Alvarez have history of their own.
Alvarez was also part of Grande’s ‘Honeymoon’ tour as a backup dancer in 2015. In that same year they started dating for nearly a year before breaking up. However, the two began spending time together again in recent months. They were spotted together at a June outing in Texas and a Fourth of July celebration with Grande’s family in Florida.
More recently, Alvarez’s appearances at Grande’s concerts have offered another glimpse into their renewed connection. During her Austin, Brooklyn and London concerts, Grande even changed the ‘Thank U, Next’ lyric about him. During her Austin concert, she changed it from “now I listen and laugh” to “he’s still got my back.”
The two were also spotted together in New York City, where they shared an affectionate moment before taking a romantic stroll through Central Park.
