Sunny Hostin, the co-host of The View, is facing a potential lawsuit over comments she made while discussing Nolan Wells’ death. Now, three of Wells’ friends, Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour, are demanding that Hostin retract her remarks. Moreover, they are threatening legal action if she does not comply.
Three friends of Nolan Wells threaten to sue Sunny Hostin over claims she linked them to his death
TMZ reported that attorneys for Hudson, Pitalo and Seymour say Hostin crossed the line during a July episode of Behind The Table with The View. The lawyers claim she repeatedly referred to the three men as “these three boys” while discussing Wells’ death.
Their attorneys argue that Hostin’s comments effectively connected the trio to serious crimes, including murder, hindering prosecution and evidence tampering. However, the letter insists that the three men had nothing to do with Wells’ death.
The attorneys also say Hudson, Pitalo and Seymour cooperated with law enforcement. They allegedly turned over their phones and information and were never arrested or charged in connection with the case.
Now, the three men are demanding that Hostin apologize, retract and delete the statements they consider defamatory. Their attorneys have given her 10 days to take action, warning that a lawsuit will follow if she does not.
Their attorneys told TMZ, “We will continue to require accountability for bad actors who traffic in conspiracy theories and hoaxes regardless of the size of their audience.”
They further warned, “Recipients of our pre-suit demand and notice letters will face powerhouse lawsuits if they do not act to quickly undo the harm caused by their defamatory words. Many more are on the way.”
The attorneys ended with an even stronger warning: “The people that should know better than to defame our clients need to know that we’re coming. And Hell is coming with us.”
Meanwhile, Nolan Wells’ cause of death has still not been publicly determined.
