Love Island 2026 Winner Julia Majchrzak announced her split from Lorenzo Alessi on Instagram. Majchrzak shared a carousel of pictures of herself with the caption, “A little life update. I attended the NTAs alongside Lorenzo, and it felt like the right way to celebrate our journey and the chapter we shared together. I’m incredibly grateful, and it was an honour to be there to support. Since leaving the villa, we’ve come to the decision to go our separate ways. Some chapters are special even if they’re not meant to last forever.”
Majchrzak reflected on their time together and expressed gratitude for the experience they shared.
She added, “We shared an unforgettable experience together, and those memories will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to everything this next chapter has in store for both of us.”
While Majchrzak announced the breakup, Alessi did not address the split directly. He went live on Instagram, where he read a user’s comment, “OK break up announced, and now he’s active what?” to which he responded, “No, I thought I’d be more nonchalant I guess.”
According to The Sun, sources said the couple had already parted ways before their appearance on NTAs. The source said, “It’s the usual thing where life outside the villa proves to be too tough a test. Viewers already saw how Lorenzo’s approach to dating was nonchalant, to say the least, and Julia also had high standards.”
“It proved to be tricky to square that circle on the outside, and things fizzled out last week. They agreed to do the NTAs together as they still get on, there’s no bad blood, and then would consider how to proceed,” a source added.
Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi’s breakup had been making the rounds for the last few weeks. Majchrzak had earlier called him out publicly for not taking her on a single date.
