Tenisha Warner says roughly $700,000 in mortgage debt threatens her Georgia home
According to court documents obtained by US Weekly, Tenisha revealed the mortgage debt. She claimed the Georgia property carries approximately $700,000 in debt. Tenisha lives there with her nine-year-old daughter, MacKenzie. She said the family could lose the home without sufficient funding.
“Without adequate funding, Tenisha and MacKenzie risk losing their Georgia home,” the documents stated. Tenisha also claimed the property represents the sole asset of a separate Georgia trust. She said Malcolm purchased the residence for their family.
Tenisha further alleged that Malcolm’s mother, Pamela Warner, sold their California home. She claimed Malcolm intended to leave that property to her and MacKenzie. According to the documents, Pamela later converted the property into cash.
The widow claimed financial support stopped after Pamela sought appointment as executor. Tenisha alleged she was instructed to stop submitting household bills. She also said no additional funds became available for family expenses.
Tenisha shared how she sacrificed her career to raise and homeschool MacKenzie. She also supported Malcolm’s career while relying on his income. His death allegedly left her responsible for the family’s expenses.
Those expenses reportedly included the mortgage, utilities, and taxes. She also listed insurance, medical costs, and transportation. MacKenzie’s education and activities added further financial responsibilities.
Malcolm died in July 2025 after an accidental drowning in Costa Rica. He was 54 years old at the time. He had been vacationing with Tenisha and their daughter.
Earlier this year, Tenisha sued Pamela over Malcolm’s estate. She claimed she was entitled to $1.2 million under their premarital agreement. Pamela served as successor trustee of Malcolm’s Warner Family Trust.
Tenisha continues navigating the financial and legal fallout from Malcolm’s death.
