Whitney Leavitt’s Son Hijacks Family ‘DWTS’ Video With Rude Gesture

Whitney Leavitt has turned her family’s support for Conner Leavitt’s DWTS debut into a funny social-media moment. The Mormon Wives star rallied fans behind her husband, but their youngest son unexpectedly stole the final seconds.

Billy Leavitt appears to flip off the camera during Whitney’s video supporting husband Conner ahead of DWTS

Whitney shared the family DWTS video on Instagram on Sept. 8 as Conner Leavitt prepared for Dancing with the Stars Season 35. The clip opens with Whitney dancing on a kitchen counter. She then turns the camera toward daughter Sedona, 6, before showing 4-year-old Liam Leavitt bouncing around.

However, the real surprise comes at the end.

Whitney added a slow-motion shot of the couple’s youngest son, Billy, who appears to flip off the camera. She placed the words, “mood cause we get text ‘CONNER L’ to 21523 next week,” over the moment.

“WE RIDE AT DAWN,” Whitney added in the caption while tagging Conner and DWTS.

The playful post supports Conner after some viewers questioned his casting on the ABC competition. Conner leaned into the casting backlash. In his own TikTok, he joked that getting cast made him discover that “nepo husband” apparently did not count as “star.”

Whitney also joined the joke. Another family video showed the children wearing matching shirts that read, “My Daddy Is on Dancing with the Stars.”

Conner is not completely new to the ballroom. During Season 34, he joined Whitney and Mark Ballas for their Dedication Night contemporary routine. That performance came during Whitney’s own DWTS run, which ended in the semifinals. She later moved to Broadway, while Conner took an Off-Broadway role.

Now Conner will compete with pro Adele Zaikman during Season 35. Whitney has also closed a major chapter with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She confirmed her exit after saying Season 5 would be her last.

Still, SLOMW remains part of the family’s public story as Conner enters the ballroom.

For now, Whitney seems fully committed to campaign mode. Yet Billy’s unexpected gesture gave the family’s support video the moment viewers are most likely to remember.
