Maisie Williams has a new love in her life, but she is keeping one major detail firmly under wraps. The Game of Thrones alum confirmed she is dating again. However, she stopped short of revealing who her mystery partner actually is.

Williams opened up about her relationship status in a new Guardian interview. The 29-year-old said she is dating and “so happy” about it. When asked whether she had been enjoying playing the field, Williams immediately shut that idea down. “No! I’m in love,” she said. “That’s all I’ll say.”
That answer leaves the biggest question unanswered: Williams did not identify her current partner. Still, she offered one small clue about the relationship. When asked whether this romance feels different from other times she has been in love, she replied, “Yes, which is good.”
“There’s lots of laughter,” Williams added.
The new relationship comes years after her highly public romance with Reuben Selby. Williams and Selby dated for five years before calling it quits. They announced their split in February 2023. At the time, Williams called the breakup “the end of an era” and said they remained connected through their creative work, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Since then, Williams has kept much of her private life away from public view. Meanwhile, her career remains busy. She recently discussed the possibility of returning as Arya Stark if the Game of Thrones character evolves.
Williams also stars in Practical Magic 2 as Antonia. The sequel has already generated attention over its recast roles.
Her co-stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman even offered relationship advice on set. Williams joked that the group agreed being friends with an ex is “a fallacy.” For now, though, Maisie Williams’ new love remains a mystery.
She may be happy to confirm she has found someone. Still, she clearly is not ready to make that person part of the public story.
