Mama June says Jessica Shannon’s wedding dress has not been dry-cleaned
June shared photos of Jessica wearing the dress on Instagram. The 47-year-old reality star addressed her daughter’s recent divorce. “Well the marriage didn’t work, but the wedding dress was beautiful,” June wrote.
She went on to describe the dress, “it’s a size 20W it’s hasn’t been altered it’s has pockets it hasn’t been dry cleaned but no stains.” June insisted on “no stains” despite the lack of dry cleaning. She revealed she originally paid $1500 for the gown. However, she is now selling the gown for only $800.
The dress can reportedly be shipped to buyers. June also offered local pickup in Grey, Georgia. She asked interested buyers to make serious inquiries.
The sale came shortly after Jessica finalized her divorce from Shyann McCant. The former couple’s marriage officially ended on August 27. Jessica’s maiden name was also restored following the divorce.
Jessica and McCant married in September 2025. They later filmed another ceremony for the Shannon family’s WeTV reality series. Jessica announced their split publicly eight months later.
“We mutually decided that it was the best decision for both of us,” Jessica wrote in June. She also asked fans to avoid sending hate or creating unnecessary drama.
June later made her own claims about the reason behind the split. She accused McCant of cheating with her current girlfriend, Mackenzie. McCant acknowledged her actions but said she was unhappy in the marriage.
McCant also claimed issues involving Jessica’s mother contributed to her decision. She said she had repeatedly expressed those concerns. McCant added that she had asked for a divorce more than once.
Now, Jessica’s former wedding dress has become part of the post-divorce fallout. June hopes another bride will give the gown a second chance. For $800, the buyer will apparently receive it without professional cleaning.
