David Harbour wins Outstanding Supporting Actor for DTF St. Louis
Harbour won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys. He played Floyd Smernitch in DTF St. Louis. The Sept. 6 ceremony marked Harbour’s first Emmy win. He previously earned two Emmy nominations for his work on Stranger Things.
Harbour faced tough competition in the category. Other nominees included Jason Bateman, Richard Gadd, Richard Jenkins, Charles Melton and Nick Offerman. Before the ceremony, Harbour spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the show’s Emmy recognition. He called the response to DTF St. Louis “very moving.”
“The fact that there were 13 nominations across the board for this show?” Harbour said. “And all the acting in it got nominated? It’s just like an embrace of us in a way that I really appreciate.” He added, “I am taking the time to bask in and appreciate it.”
Harbour’s DTF St. Louis co-star Jason Bateman received two acting nominations at this year’s Emmy Awards. Along with his nod for playing Clark Forrest in DTF St. Louis, he was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Black Rabbit. The nominations brought his career total to 18 Emmy nods, and he previously won for directing Ozark in 2019.
The Creative Arts Emmys took place Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. FXX will air an edited broadcast of the ceremonies on Sept. 12, while Hulu will stream it the following day. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock on Sept. 14. Harbour’s first Emmy win is now one of the biggest moments of his television career.
