Andrea Denver and Lexi Sundin officially became parents after welcoming their first child together. The In the City stars introduced their baby girl, Astrid, with an emotional announcement filled with plenty of new-parent joy.
The couple shared their daughter’s arrival after keeping fans guessing through the final stretch of Lexi’s pregnancy. Their happy news also added another baby to the In the City family in a remarkably short span.

Andrea, 35, and Lexi, 26, announced Astrid’s birth through a joint Instagram post on Thursday, September 3. Their caption made it clear that the new parents were already completely smitten. “Our little Astrid ?,” they wrote. “It’s already been a week with her, and our hearts have never been so full. Best thing we’ve ever done!! ?.”
The announcement included hospital photos showing the couple cuddling their daughter. One particularly sweet picture showed Astrid wrapped in a blanket and wearing a white floral onesie. Another snap captured the newborn holding onto her father’s little finger. Naturally, their In the City friends quickly filled the comments with congratulations.
“She’s perfect!!! So happy for you guys!!! ???,” Lindsay Hubbard wrote. Luke Gulbranson also celebrated the arrival with, “Congrats!!! ? ?”
The couple had exclusively revealed their pregnancy to PEOPLE in June. They had married two years earlier during a wedding in Italy. Lexi previously shared that they had planned to start their family. “Last fall, we decided it was time to start trying for a family, something we had always hoped for,” she told the outlet.
Her pregnancy test brought an especially memorable surprise. Lexi said she first realized her period was late during Christmas while visiting family.
“I took a test on my own because I didn’t want us both getting our hopes up too soon,” she explained. A positive result sent her straight to Andrea, creating a moment she said they wished they could bottle forever.
Astrid’s arrival also marked the third In the City baby in under three months. Danielle Olivera and Eoin Heavey welcomed son Aidan on June 21, ten weeks early. Aidan spent 63 days in the NICU before coming home August 24. Olivera later congratulated Andrea and Lexi, writing, “Love little Astrid so much already!!”
Yvonne Najor and Nick Barber also welcomed son Leonardo Robert Daniel Barber on August 20.
