Olivia Rodrigo turned the finale of her first Daisy Chain Fields festival into a major musical and fundraising moment. The singer closed the women-led event alongside Stevie Nicks after a full day of performances in Irvine, California. The festival also delivered a huge milestone for Rodrigo’s mission. Daisy Chain Fields reached $20 million for organizations supporting women and girls after Melinda French Gates doubled its initial fundraising total.

Rodrigo welcomed Stevie Nicks during her Saturday, Aug. 29, headlining set at Great Park. Together, they performed “Landslide,” the beloved 1975 Fleetwood Mac song.
A TikTok clip captured Rodrigo and Nicks sharing the stage. The pair traded vocals before dancing together during the performance.
Nicks then offered Rodrigo some high praise. She joked that the 23-year-old reminded her of herself at that age and said she felt “somewhat awestruck” by what Rodrigo had created.
The “Landslide” duet capped a packed headline set. Rodrigo also brought out Sarah McLachlan for “Building a Mystery” and “Angel.” Meanwhile, Alanis Morissette joined her for “Ironic” after Karen O withdrew over a personal matter.
However, the festival’s biggest achievement came through its fundraising. Rodrigo announced that Daisy Chain Fields had generated $10 million for its 10 nonprofit partners.
French Gates then matched that amount through Pivotal, pushing the total to $20 million. The money will go equally to organizations supporting women and girls, including Baby2Baby, Planned Parenthood and the National Women’s Law Center.
The festival’s official site says its net proceeds support organizations working across areas including reproductive rights, maternal health and economic security.
Rodrigo has already used the festival to deepen that work. Earlier in August, she discussed survivor support with FreeFrom founder Sonya Passi as part of Daisy Chain Fields’ wider mission.
The night ended with another piece of good news. Rodrigo thanked fans and the participating organizations before promising, “I will see you next year!”
