As Ever revealed its latest offering, Spiced Apple Butter, in a newsletter describing it as a “fall favorite.” The product, packaged in a 7.6-ounce jar, is scheduled to go on sale on August 26. While the spread is new to As Ever, the recipe has roots in Meghan’s earlier lifestyle content. In 2015, she shared an apple butter toast recipe on her now-defunct blog, The Tig. The dish was based on her grandmother’s original version, which she explained she had “tweaked and modernized.”
The recipe featured apples cooked with sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt before being served on toast with whipped ricotta and Marcona almonds. Meghan described it as balancing savory and sweet flavors.
The latest launch arrives amid ongoing reports about the royal family’s future. Meghan and Prince Harry are reportedly preparing to relocate to the U.K. with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for an extended stay. According to previous reports, the family plans to live in a private, non-royal residence while keeping their Montecito home in California.
Neither Meghan nor Harry has personally confirmed the reported move. PEOPLE also reported that Meghan intends to continue operating As Ever from overseas, with additional product launches planned later this year. Her other ventures, including Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, will also continue operating out of the United States. The publication further reported that Meghan is exploring a return to acting. Currently, discussions are underway about a possible role in the third season of Netflix’s The Gentlemen.
