Meghan Markle is reportedly in discussions about joining Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen if the show moves forward with a third season.
The talks remain preliminary. Netflix has not renewed the series for Season 3, and sources told Deadline that producers have not identified a specific role for Markle. Representatives for Markle and Netflix declined to comment.

The potential Meghan Markle acting comeback comes as The Gentlemen prepares to return for its second season on September 3. Theo James leads the series as Eddie, with Kaya Scodelario playing Susie.
Any agreement involving Markle would depend on Netflix ordering another season. Deadline reported that the conversations about her involvement remain hypothetical at this stage.
The possibility also emerged shortly after Markle and Prince Harry announced plans to spend an extended period in the U.K. The couple has lived in California since relocating to the United States in 2020. The Gentlemen films in Britain.
Markle already has an established relationship with Netflix alongside Harry. The couple holds a first-look deal with the streaming service and has projects in development across television and film.
Their previous Netflix projects include the documentary series Harry & Meghan and With Love, Meghan. Markle also hosted the Archetypes podcast and recently appeared as a guest on MasterChef Australia.
The former Suits star has also taken another step toward acting. In 2025, reports confirmed that she would make a cameo in the Amazon MGM Studios film Close Personal Friends.
Ritchie created The Gentlemen, which takes place in the same world as his 2019 movie of the same name. Season 2 follows Eddie and Susie one year after they began working together within Bobby’s criminal operation.
Ritchie also writes the series with Matthew Read and serves as an executive producer. Moonage Pictures and Miramax Television produce the show for Netflix.
For now, Markle’s possible involvement remains dependent on both a third-season renewal and further casting discussions.
