According to People’s coverage, the 43-year-old actress recently shared a post on Instagram in which she opened up about a recent health scare, describing it as one of the scariest moments she has experienced.
Kristen Doute wrote, “Little angel had a super high temp last night, and we took her to the ER. This is the scariest part of being a mama.”
The photo shared by The Goat star showed her daughter lying asleep on a bed and looking tired, while a brown blanket partly covered the baby and made her appear visibly unwell.
For context, the reality TV star and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, recently celebrated their daughter Kaia’s birthday with a grand Under the Sea-themed party.
At the time, Doute said, “Luke and I feel like we are finally out of survival mode and can truly enjoy Kaia now, celebrating all her little milestones.”
“She’s getting ready to walk, she has six teeth, she is so smart and inventive. I’m just in awe of how curious she is and how she tries to figure out every little thing,” she added
According to reports, one of Kristen’s favorite moments was when her daughter smashed her first birthday cake. The 43-year-old actress revealed that she had no idea Kaia would be so excited while doing it.
Kristen Doute and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, welcomed their daughter on June 11, 2025, and named her Kaia Lily Broderick. The name Kaia means “sea” in Hawaiian, while Lily represents a new beginning and compassion. Kaia’s birth was also featured on Bravo’s The Valley as part of the couple’s fertility journey.
