Donald Trump is facing renewed attention over his working relationship with White House aide Natalie Harp after an old Marine One clip resurfaced online. The footage shows the pair sitting side by side and talking inside the presidential helicopter.
However, the video itself is not new. Its return comes as Harp’s access to Trump and her frequent presence on his trips continue to draw political scrutiny.

A Republicans against Trump post, on X shared footage on Aug. 17 and described it as newly surfaced. However, the same account had circulated the Marine One clip in March, asking viewers what they noticed about Trump and Harp.
In the footage, Trump and Harp appear seated next to each other while speaking. The clip does not reveal what they discussed, and it offers no evidence of anything beyond a conversation between the president and his aide.
Harp serves as Trump’s executive assistant and regularly travels with him. Earlier this month, she joined him on a three-day West Coast trip after cameras captured her boarding Marine One with a red backpack.
Meanwhile, scrutiny of the Trump aide has grown for reasons beyond the resurfaced Natalie Harp video. Her estranged brother, Preston Harp, previously described her bond with Trump as “very unhealthy”. However, he rejected a scandalous interpretation and instead framed the connection as ideological and emotional.
In addition, journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan wrote about Harp’s loyalty in Regime Change. The book says Harp left Trump personal notes, including one that reportedly read, “You are all that matters to me.”
More recently, Sen. Jon Ossoff mocked Trump over his travel with Harp during an Atlanta rally. The White House pushed back and defended Harp after the remark.
Still, the resurfaced Marine One clip does not establish the nature of the Trump-Natalie Harp relationship. Instead, it has renewed attention on how visible the White House aide has become around the president.
For now, the old video is adding another layer to the debate over Harp’s access and role inside Trump’s circle.
