Paul Walker’s Estate Steps In To Crush Viral Rumors About His Fast & Furious Car

Paul Walker’s estate is addressing online rumors surrounding one of his most famous cars from the Fast and Furious franchise. The speculation suggested that his daughter, Meadow Walker, had listed the car for sale. The estate has now responded to those claims.

Paul Walker’s estate clarified that daughter Meadow Walker did not sell his iconic 1998 Toyota Supra from Furious 7

A statement posted via Walker’s Instagram account on August 7 wrote, “We would like to set the record straight regarding the false reports online. @MeadowWalker did NOT sell nor auction Paul’s 1998 Toyota Supra from Furious 7.” It further stated, “The car is currently on display at the @PetersenMuseum as part of A Fast & Furious Legacy exhibit running now through April 2027, and remains under Meadow’s ownership as part of her collection.”

The 27-year-old daughter shared the statement on her Instagram Stories, where she directly addressed the rumors. She stressed that she has not sold the car or listed it for auction, reports Us Weekly.

According to Geo News, the silver-and-orange Toyota Supra holds a special significance in the Fast & Furious franchise. Featured in Furious 7, the car became one of Paul Walker’s most iconic vehicles on screen.

Walker’s life came to a tragic end in November 2013 at age 40 following a fatal car accident. The actor was in the middle of filming Furious 7. The actor was killed in Los Angeles alongside Roger Rodas, his friend and financial adviser, after the Porsche Carrera GT they were in crashed and caught fire, The Guardian states.

According to the coroner’s report, Walker’s cause of death was attributed to the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries. Rodas, the driver of the vehicle, died from multiple traumatic injuries. The report also confirmed that no drugs or alcohol were detected in either man.
