Barry Manilow, 83, was scheduled to perform in Lexington, Kentucky, during his farewell arena tour.
His concert in Lexington was canceled after he took to his X account to share the news. He wrote, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s show in Lexington has been rescheduled.”
However, there is no other information regarding the cancellation. According to E! News, the singer has finished his lung cancer treatment and has been declared cancer-free after a long battle with cancer.
In his previous interview with People, he reflected on his treatment and said, “It was a nightmare.”
Soon after his announcement, fans shared their disappointment as they were left waiting for Manilow to appear on stage.
One user said, “We traveled from Cincinnati to hear him! I hope all is well. It wasn’t canceled until 30 minutes before start time. ?.” Another wrote, “What date? This is the second time it’s been rescheduled and a lot of people have spent money twice on hotels.”
