NeNe Leakes‘ son Bryson Bryant is behind bars in Georgia once again. Jail records show he was booked July 24 on a contempt of court charge.
The reality star’s eldest son’s latest arrest comes just months after he posted bond in a separate probation-related case, marking another chapter in his ongoing legal troubles.
Bryson Bryant returned to jail after an earlier probation-related case
RHUGT star NeNe Leakes’ son Bryson Bryant is behind bars again. Jail records obtained by TMZ show he checked into the Gwinnett County Jail in Georgia on July 24 over a contempt of court charge, adding another mug shot to his collection.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s son has a lengthy history of legal trouble. It was reported that police had arrested him on May 1 for allegedly failing to pay court-ordered child support, violating probation, and failing to appear.
That probation violation traced back to an earlier case. Officers said they found Bryson Bryant with fentanyl, and police say he gave them his younger brother Brentt Leakes‘ name during questioning.
Prosecutors later dismissed the drug charge as part of a plea deal. A judge sentenced him to 12 months of probation for giving officers a false name. The sentence also ordered him to complete 40 hours of community service, submit to random drug testing, undergo a substance abuse evaluation and pay a $500 fine.
His bond in the May arrest came in at roughly $27,000, and he eventually walked free. The July booking puts him back in custody.
The latest arrest comes as NeNe has also been making headlines over speculation about her future with The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
