Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Made a Surprising Claim About His Eating Habits While Promoting the Real Food Show

Recently, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared on the USA Today podcast with host Swapna Venugopal Ramaswamy. During the conversation, while promoting The Real Cook Show, Ramaswamy asked him, “What’s the most exotic food you’ve ever eaten?” Kennedy’s response surprised many listeners.

“I will literally eat anything,” Kennedy said. “I don’t have a gag reflex. Let me put it like that. I will eat anything, and I love experimenting with foods. I love all different kinds of foods. When I travel, I’ll eat, you know, even stuff I find on the street, street vendors.”

Ramaswamy then asked whether there was anything he had eaten that made people react with, “Wow, you ate that?”

In response, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reminded everyone that he is the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services with his surprising answer. Kennedy said, “Oh, I don’t know. I’m getting a signal not to answer that question.”

After noticing Kennedy’s hesitation, Ramaswamy changed the subject and began discussing vegan diets. Kennedy said a vegan diet was not suitable for him. He had tried one before but said it made him feel very weak.
