Kimberley Strassel Mocks J.D. Vance as ‘Sensitive Bunny’ Amid Conservative Feud

J.D. Vance‘s ongoing feud with conservative columnist Kimberley A. Strassel has escalated. The Wall Street Journal columnist took a swipe at Vance, calling him a “sensitive bunny” in her recent column.

The Wall Street Journal columnist escalated her criticism of Vance after backlash from his allies

Strassel made another remark about the vice president after facing backlash from his allies. She criticized him and his allies in her recent column on July 23, according to OK! Magazine.

The WSJ columnist wrote another column taking aim at Vance, “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, by J.D. Vance.”

Strassel argued, “Not so Vice President J.D. Vance, and his dreary band of online enforcers.” She added that Vance’s reaction was “egotism — or rather, insecurity. One answer is simply that Mr. Vance is a sensitive bunny. If he wants to be president, he’ll need to get over that.”

The new column was a response to the backlash she received. The conservative media host Katie Miller said his absence from Capitol Hill was due to “parental leave” on the Katie Miller Podcast.

Previously, she wrote a column titled, “President Vance Goes AWOL” about the vice president’s promotion of his book “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith” on July 16.  She added, “Congress is crying out for a dedicated White House ambassador — someone who can be trusted to speak for the president, to yea or nay ideas, to shuttle proposals, to wrangle rebels in line. Mr. Vance is promoting a book.” The column was published after the vice president appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast during his book tour. Vance is currently on a media and book tour to promote his memoir.

Strassel’s back-to-back columns about Vance’s promotion of his book on Joe Rogan and her clash with his allies have added another layer to the feud. However, Vance has not made any public comment addressing Strassel’s latest column.
