The Spider-Man star, who recently confirmed that he and Zendaya are married, was seen by his wife’s side as the couple stepped out of their New York City hotel for a date night.
According to Page Six, Zendaya stepped out in a plunging black dress with a thigh-high slit, but the gown nearly led to a wardrobe mishap when the wind caught the fabric. Holland, who wore a blue sweater with denim jeans, quickly alerted her, prompting Zendaya to hold the dress in place.
The couple then held hands as they left the hotel before getting into a waiting car.
Holland’s thoughtful gesture has left fans admiring the actor’s quick thinking and support. One of them wrote, “Tom Holland out here proving once again why he’s the ultimate internet husband. Holland and Zendaya, who have been dating since 2021 and quietly tied the knot, are in NYC for press appearances for Christopher Nolan’s new movie, The Odyssey.
Nolan’s upcoming action-fantasy epic is based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic poem, which dates back to around the 8th or 7th century BC. The film features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Holland, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron.
The Odyssey premiered in London on July 6. With a reported budget of $250 million, the film is expected to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters. It is set to hit theaters worldwide on July 17.
