The long-running legal dispute reportedly came to an end on May 4 when the parties reached an out-of-court settlement.
Blake Lively saw Justin Baldoni’s video but stayed silent, claims source
According to Rob Shuter, Blake Lively saw Justin Baldoni’s latest video but chose to remain silent. Baldoni and Lively worked together on “It Ends With Us,” which Baldoni also directed. Lively later filed a lawsuit against him, alleging sexual harassment and accusing him of orchestrating a digital campaign to damage her reputation.
Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit. The two parties reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement in May, bringing their lengthy legal battle to an end.
On July 7, Baldoni and his wife, Emily, shared a lengthy video on Instagram. They thanked those who supported them throughout the case and spoke about how they have been coping since it ended.
In the video, Baldoni said they are “healing,” adding that the process looks different every day after experiencing something extremely traumatic. After the video was released, many were curious about Lively’s reaction. According to sources, she watched the video in full and was reportedly “furious.” The insider claimed that she believes Baldoni is trying to “recast himself as the victim.”
However, the source added that Lively is staying calm and has no intention of taking the “bait.” The insider said, “Blake has no interest in giving this another news cycle. In her mind, the case is over, and she’s determined to keep it that way.”
However, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, allegedly doesn’t feel the same way and is “enraged,” claims an insider. A Hollywood insider said that while Baldoni wants to tell his story, Lively and Reynolds feel that they would make the most powerful statement by saying nothing.
