As Swifties continue to dissect every detail from the celebration, an alleged cocktail menu has emerged as the latest viral talking point. Although its authenticity remains unconfirmed, one cocktail has already won over fans with its clever name and unique blend of ingredients
‘The English Teacher’ cocktail from the wedding is winning over Taylor Swift fans
An alleged cocktail menu from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has become the latest topic of discussion online. The image, shared by fan account @theTSupdates on X alongside a photo from the couple’s engagement, had the caption, “Some of the cocktails menu at Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s wedding.” That said, the image has not been verified, and there has been no official confirmation that it is authentic.
Even so, fans wasted little time dissecting the menu. The photo appears to show three signature cocktails created for the celebration: The English Teacher, The Gym Teacher, and T&Tequila. While each drink sparked curiosity, The English Teacher quickly emerged as the clear favorite among fans.
According to the unverified menu, the cocktail includes Empress gin, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lavender syrup, and fresh lemon juice. The refreshing combination immediately caught the attention of Swifties, many of whom said it sounded like the perfect summer cocktail.
The drink’s name also appears to reference one of the couple’s best-known relationship milestones. After announcing their engagement in August last year, Swift shared a series of photos on Instagram alongside the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” It seems the alleged cocktail names were inspired by that announcement, with The Gym Teacher seemingly serving as Kelce’s counterpart.
The second drink reportedly features reposado tequila, mezcal, agave, Angostura aromatic bitters, and orange bitters. Meanwhile, a third signature cocktail, T&Tequila, allegedly blends blanco tequila with hibiscus-infused chili, pineapple, fresh lime, and agave.
Before long, Swifties were sharing their picks in the comments. “The English Teacher sounds delicious hold on…,” one person wrote. Another agreed, saying, “The English Teacher sounds like one of my go-to cocktails.”
Others were tempted by the tequila-based drinks instead. “Mezcal?? I knew she had good taste,” one fan joked, while another admitted, “id try them all tbh.” One user even predicted the drinks could eventually appear at 1587 Prime, Kelce’s co-owned Kansas City steakhouse. “These will be on the menu at 1587..bet,” said the fan.
