George Kittle says that even invited guests do not know the wedding location for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
At the Tight Ends & Friends Concert presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese’s in Nashville on June 23, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle told People that the wedding appears to be nearing, saying the big day is “this close.”
When asked whether Madison Square Garden (MSG) would be the venue, George and his wife, Claire Kittle, told Entertainment Tonight, “We don’t know.” However, they confirmed that they had received an invitation, telling the outlet, “We’ll be there.” George said, “I actually asked Travis last night, and he laughed at me.” Adding, “I’m half expecting there just to be a jumbo jet on the runway, and they put us on a plane somewhere. I don’t have expectations, I know it’s going to be amazing.”
In September 2025, a source told People that their wedding “will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle.” According to TMZ, Swift and Kelce are reportedly planning a large wedding event on July 3 at MSG. Sources with direct knowledge told the outlet that a permit has been filed with New York City to close streets surrounding MSG from July 2 through July 4 in connection with the planned event. However, Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed any wedding date, venue, or ceremony details.
For their wedding, the couple is reportedly handpicking their guest list, choosing a close-knit circle rather than a large, celebrity-filled celebration. The Sun reports that Swift’s close friend Gigi Hadid is likely to be one of her bridesmaids, alongside Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters.
