Bunnie Xo has denied rumors that her split from Jelly Roll involved Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. The couple parted ways after nearly a decade of marriage. While both have remained silent about the split, news of the divorce surfaced about two weeks later after Roll filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 18.

Bunnie XO, born Alisa Carter, addressed the breakup on her Dumb Blonde Podcast, stressing that “nobody cheated,” following online speculation that she had begun dating Chad Kroeger.
She said, as quoted by Us Weekly, “The news drops, I have f**king Nickelback on my page,” explaining that she had not been posting new content since the breakup. Instead, she had shared an older video of herself singing along to Nickelback’s hit How You Remind Me.
The 46-year-old podcaster said, “I am not with Daddy Chaddy. There’s no f**king way in hell that that would even be a thing. And no, I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad, and like, none of that. Like, please.” Adding, “This is so wrong. I am not dating Chad Kroger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.”
Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll married in August 2016 and began their fertility journey in 2019, with plans to expand their family, reports E! News. In February 2026, Bunnie, who worked as a sex worker and left the industry in 2023, stated in her memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic that the couple was trying for twins via a surrogate.
In 2024, she updated that the couple had separated back in 2018 for a brief period. While Roll, in October 2025, revealed, as per Today, that he had cheated on his wife earlier in their relationship. He said, “I don’t talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair.” Roll has two children from previous relationships: Bailee Ann DeFord, 18, and Noah “Buddy” DeFord, 9, who occasionally appear in their stepmother’s videos.
