Khloé Kardashian put Tristan Thompson on the spot during the latest episode of her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land”. The reality star asked her ex and the father of her children a question many fans have wondered about for years: when did he actually start feeling bad about cheating?
The answer sparked one of the most awkward moments of the conversation.
Khloé Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson opens up about his feelings after cheating
The former couple reunited on her podcast to revisit their complicated history, including the cheating scandals that repeatedly made headlines during their relationship. At one point, Khloé asked Tristan whether he felt remorse while he was being unfaithful or only after the fact.
According to Tristan, the guilt didn’t arrive immediately. “Not in the moment,” he admitted. Khloé then pushed further, asking if the regret came once he was caught or shortly after it happened. That’s when Tristan offered an answer that appeared to catch even him off guard.
“Post-nut syndrome,” he said. Khloé’s reaction said plenty. Tristan quickly apologized, realizing his comment hadn’t landed well. Still, she wasn’t done.
“So then, why do you keep redoing it?” Khloé asked.
“That’s a trillion-dollar question,” Tristan replied.
The former NBA star went on to reflect on that period of his life, saying things were moving quickly and admitting he didn’t do the best job of being honest about where he was emotionally.
“I probably didn’t do the best job of navigating my truth,” he said, adding that part of his mindset was wanting “your cake and eat it too.”
The conversation revisited one of the most public chapters of their relationship. In 2019, Tristan found himself at the center of a scandal involving Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s longtime best friend. Woods later confirmed that she and Tristan kissed but denied that anything further happened.
The fallout extended beyond Khloé and Tristan, straining Kylie and Jordyn’s friendship for years. These days, Khloé and Tristan appear focused on co-parenting, but their latest podcast conversation proved there are still difficult questions worth asking.
