“MAGA, stop being just f—- hypocrites,” Lemon said. “Realize that the president’s approval rate numbers are in the tank, in the toilet. The president’s approval ratings are tanking. I think, like, 6 in 10 Americans are saying that.”

He then displayed a report from The Washington Post with the headline, “60% disapprove of Trump ahead of State of the Union, Post-ABC-Ipsos poll finds.” After reading the headline aloud, Lemon responded, “That ain’t good.”

The 59-year-old continued, “Don’t tell me, like, it’s half of Americans. No, it’s not half of Americans; it’s not even a third of Americans.” He added that the figures referenced registered voters rather than the entire population.

The journalist further stated, “MAGA is not as big as you think. They’re just loud and boisterous, and they happen to have the energy. They were able to co-op certain demographics in the electorate to believe their b—-. Now, they f—- around and found out.”

Lemon also recently addressed his arrest at a pre-Grammy party last month. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said the officers who arrested him did not present a physical warrant. He also claimed he was denied a phone call after being placed in a holding cell.

He described the incident as a “waste of resources” and said it was an attempt to “embarrass, intimidate, and instill fear” in him. Authorities released him the following day after a judge’s order.
