BBC Three is Axed… Where Will We Watch Family Guy Now?

BBC Three has been axed, as the broadcasting company plans to make major cuts.

The channel, which is predominantly known for its seemingly infinite repeats of Family Guy along with reality shows such as Snog, Marry, Avoid and Don’t Tell the Bride, will now become an online-only channel via the BBC’s iPlayer service.

BBC director general Tony Hall said of the channel’s cancelation: “We are in the final stages of a budget process to find an extra £100 million of savings. I will announce the outcome of those decisions in the next month.”

While the channel was known in its later life as something of a TV graveyard, it spent its formative years as the home of hugely popular comedy shows such as The Mighty Boosh, Little Britain and Gavin & Stacey.
