Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Use Charity Trips to ‘Test the Waters’ for a New Life — Report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have continued to undertake international trips focused on charitable causes, keeping their philanthropic work in the spotlight beyond the United States. However, according to a new report, their overseas engagements may also serve another purpose. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly using these visits to gauge public reception and explore potential locations for their future. This has raised questions about whether a major change in their living arrangements could be on the horizon.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘International Charity Trips’ Double as House Hunts, Per Source

According to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s travel schedule may carry motivations beyond their stated philanthropic commitments. An unnamed source claims the couple is quietly scoping out potential destinations to establish a secondary base abroad.

“These international charity trips are about more than the causes they support. They give Harry and Meghan an opportunity to test the waters, see how they are received and identify cities where they could build a future,” a source told Naughty But Nice.

The possibility of exploring other locations comes as the Sussexes continue navigating their living arrangements. Since returning to the UK in August, the couple have reportedly been staying on a wealthy friend’s estate in the Cotswolds. However, reports published on November 3 revealed that they had moved from the main house into another property on the same estate. The arrangement has raised further questions about their long-term housing plans, although the property’s ownership and the terms of their stay remain undisclosed.

The couple’s future location would also need to accommodate their professional commitments, charitable initiatives, and family priorities. Any move would therefore involve more than finding a spacious property, especially as they continue building their independent public and business ventures.

If the claims are accurate, their overseas visits could help them identify locations offering the right mix of public reception, privacy and family life. However, the suggestion that these charity engagements are doubling as potential house hunts remains unconfirmed. Neither Harry nor Meghan has publicly announced plans to relocate to another international city.
