Kim Kardashian Apparently Forgot Sarah Paulson Is an Actress

Kim Kardashian has made a surprising confession about her All’s Fair co-star and friend Sarah Paulson. She said that she mistook Paulson’s character’s voice for her real one. It took the reality star more than a year of working with her to discover the mistake.

Kim mistook Sarah’s character voice for the real thing

Page Six reported that Kim Kardashian said she had mistaken Sarah Paulson’s character, Carrington Lane’s voice, for her real one. Evidently, the unusually deep voice of the character starring in Hulu’s “All Fair” sounded like the original to her. The two discussed this misunderstanding during an appearance on Good Morning America on Nov. 4. They were promoting the show’s second season.

“Kim thought I had a voice that was seven octaves lower than I actually have for longer than she should have thought that. The Carrington Lane voice sort of sits down here, and she sort of thought it was my real voice,” Paulson explained.

Kardashian recalled finally realising the truth during a press trip to Rome a few weeks earlier. “Wait a minute, that’s not your real voice?” she asked Paulson. “NO! NO!” the actress replied, apparently surprised that her co-star had taken so long to notice.

The pair also shared some amusing stories from their on-set work for the legal drama. Niency-Betts, who plays Emerald Greene, immediately pointed to Kardashian and Paulson when asked about cast members who struggled to keep a straight face while filming.

“Those two fall apart,” Nash-Betts said. Kardashian recalled an incident when the production team had to intervene because the two could not stop laughing during a scene. “They made Sarah and I one time get up and take a walk around the building because they said we needed to get it together. We were laughing so hard,” she shared.

The cast also revealed Kardashian’s love for the food on set. I love to eat [the set food] the whole time,” she admitted. Nash-Betts jokingly responded, “Do not let that tiny body fool you. She eats everything.”

The second season of All’s Fair premiered on Hulu on November 4, following the show’s critically panned first season in 2025.
