Prince William is reportedly frustrated by Prince Harry’s latest comments about wanting to reconcile with his father and older brother. For those unversed, the Duke of Sussex recently sat down for an exclusive, one-on-one interview with GQ magazine’s Zach Baron. The prince expressed his desire to patch up with King Charles and Prince William, emphasising that certain forces don’t want that to happen. However, William and his wife Kate Middleton are not buying into Harry’s words anymore.
Sources reveal how Prince William and Kate Middleton are reacting to Prince Harry’s interview
The Duke of Sussex made a strong statement during his GQ interview, stating: “Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out.” The Sussexes’ spokesperson clarified that Harry wasn’t taking a swipe at William or any other member of the family.
However, sources attached to Closer Online said William and Kate are reportedly upset by Harry’s remarks. A source dished: “William has no doubt in his mind that this was yet another cheap shot at him, Kate and the royal family in general. He wishes Harry would shut up, especially if he really does harbour a desire to patch things up with the family further down the line.”
The Prince of Wales believes Harry is once again making embarrassing remarks about the Royal Family and pointing fingers at others. However, according to Prince William, Prince Harry refuses to take responsibility for his own actions. The GQ interview allegedly appears to reaffirm William’s longstanding theory about Harry: that he is “the definition of a loose cannon who cannot be trusted.”
The future king reportedly believes that Harry is once again playing the victim and putting himself “on this self-appointed pedestal” when he is the root cause of all the misery. “Both William and Kate are exasperated, but Kate a little more measured and less reactive,” the source added.
The Princess of Wales “wants to believe” that her brother-in-law is operating from “a place of vulnerability” and genuinely wants to reconcile. However, she is “bitterly disappointed and frustrated” by his behavior.
