Prince Harry‘s latest comments about reconciling with the Royal Family have reportedly sparked fresh tensions within the monarchy. While the Duke of Sussex has made his desire to repair family relationships clear, his public remarks have not received the response he may have hoped for from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry recently reiterated that reconciliation remained his priority, saying, “Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out.” However, his comments reportedly did not sit well with Prince William and Kate Middleton. A source told Closer that William viewed the remarks as another public attack on him, Kate, and the Royal Family.
“William has no doubt in his mind that this was yet another cheap shot at him, Kate and the royal family in general. He wishes Harry would shut up, especially if he really does harbour a desire to patch things up with the family further down the line.” The insider claimed William feels Harry continues to embarrass the family.
“For William, it feels as though Harry is going out of his way to cause trouble and embarrass the family, while continuing to point fingers at everyone other than himself.” The source claimed William still sees Harry as unpredictable and untrustworthy.
“William maintains his brother is the definition of a loose cannon who cannot be trusted.” Kate, meanwhile, is reportedly more measured. Although frustrated, she is said to believe Harry could be speaking from a place of vulnerability and genuinely seeking a way towards reconciliation.
However, his decision to appeal publicly has left her disappointed. “But she’s still bitterly disappointed and frustrated that he’s going about things so publicly. It’s the total opposite of how the royals conduct themselves, and Harry must have known it would enrage the family.”
Kate reportedly remains cautious about speaking privately with Harry, fearing her words could be shared publicly. With trust still lacking, his peace appeal may not be enough to repair their relationship.
