Samuel L. Jackson’s Frisco King arrives next month on Paramount+
Samuel L. Jackson is set to lead a new crime drama arriving on Paramount+ next month. Titled Frisco King, the series will make its streaming debut on December 18, 2026, with the first two episodes released together. The platform will then add a new episode each week, with the show available exclusively to Paramount+ subscribers.
Frisco King follows Russell Lee Washington Jr., a New York-based mob hitman sent to kill Dwight Manfredi. However, their bond, forged during their time in prison, leads Russell to reconsider the assignment. Rather than carrying out the hit, he leaves Tulsa behind and heads to Frisco, Texas, where he sets out to build a powerful criminal empire.
According to Variety, the official logline reads, “Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. But every new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the risks, forcing Lee to stay one grift ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived.”
Jackson stars as Russell Lee Washington Jr. The cast also features Asa Germann as Teddy, Kai Caster as Keith, Lilah Pate as London, and Savanna Gann as Avery, among others. Frisco King is produced by Paramount Television Studios in association with 101 Studios.
The series has an executive production team that includes Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Samuel L. Jackson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox.
