Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Move Into New Home Owned by Wealthy Pal — Report

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly made another change to their living arrangements in the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had been staying at a wealthy friend’s estate in the Cotswolds, have reportedly moved out of the main residence and into a separate property on the sprawling grounds. The move has raised questions about the couple’s future in the UK. Is this just a temporary stay, or are Harry and Meghan planning to settle in Britain?

According to the Daily Mail, the Sussexes have moved from the main house into a separate property on their wealthy friend’s estate. A friend of the businessman reportedly confirmed the development, telling the publication: “They were living in the main house. They have now moved to a property on the estate.” Photos of the couple’s earlier UK home had also surfaced previously.

The businessman, whose friendship with Prince Harry reportedly developed through military charity work, has welcomed the family to stay on his property. The arrangement offers the couple a private place to live while they explore their longer-term housing options in the UK.

The Sussexes’ return to Britain has been closely followed since reports emerged in August 2026 that they planned to relocate from California. Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were also expected to attend school in the UK, making their family’s living arrangements an important consideration.

Interestingly, the couple’s move does not necessarily mean they are giving up their American residence. Reports about Harry’s plans for the Montecito mansion have also drawn attention amid the couple’s reported UK move. They reportedly plan to keep their $14.5 million Montecito mansion in California. The couple moved there in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties.

The move comes after reports that Harry and Meghan Markle have been looking at properties near Highgrove, King Charles III’s country home. However, it is still unclear whether they plan to buy a permanent home in the UK. For now, the couple seems to be keeping their options open as they balance family life between the UK and the US.
